Built in 2025 | Single Story | Lake View | No Back Neighbors
It took the sellers more than a year to find this house. It took buyers a single week. 218 Curly Cucumber Circle, a single-story Lennar home built in 2025 in Harvest Green in Richmond, Texas, was listed at $475,000, drew three offers and went under contract within 7 days.
Three offers in seven days did not happen by accident. Before the home ever reached the market, we hand-delivered 200 letters to the closest neighbors and sent emails announcing it was coming. One of the offers came straight from those letters. When buyers walked through, the same things kept coming up: the lake view, the open layout, a home that still feels new, and room to entertain, all on one level. For the buyers who chose it, it also meant living close to family.
Three offers came in before the open house. An emergency pushed the open house from the first weekend to the following Tuesday, but buyers who had gotten the letters and emails asked to see it sooner. Private showings that Sunday night and one more showing before Tuesday brought in all three offers.
Every offer came from buyers who already had family nearby and wanted to be closer to them. The house did the rest: one story, built in 2025, with the lake right behind it.
The home has 2,515 square feet, three oversized bedrooms plus a study and two full baths, on a 7,000-square-foot lot with no back neighbors and the lake and its fountain behind it. When the sellers first walked into the living and kitchen area, they were struck by "the huge, open space filled with natural light, the beautifully defined dining room, and the beautiful view of the lake and fountain."
Then they walked out onto the patio, and he bought the house the next day. The covered patio is oversized and looks straight across the yard to the water. Because the home faces north, the back of the house is in shade through the evening, so the patio stays usable after work instead of sitting in the late sun. The sellers use it every day. In their words, they "listen to music, read, talk, and sometimes even dance" out there. "We don't need to go to a restaurant or a bar to enjoy a beautiful ambiance. The patio gives us that feeling right at home."
A wide entry opens into one connected living area, kitchen and dining room, with windows that frame the lake from the moment you step inside. The kitchen has quartz countertops and crisp white cabinetry, and LVP flooring runs through the entire house. The space has held a crowd: the sellers hosted a baby shower here for about 40 guests, and the room everyone talked about was the one with the view.
Every room is on one level. The primary suite is large, with its own bath and an oversized walk-in closet. The two secondary bedrooms are oversized as well and share the second full bath. The study sits apart from the bedrooms, so a work-from-home day does not take over a bedroom.
Storage is generous throughout. The sellers added custom towel holders in the baths. A sprinkler system covers the front and back yards, and there is a two-car attached garage.
Harvest Green is built around a 12-acre working Village Farm with a vineyard, a greenhouse, a chicken coop and a goat pen, and a farmers market at the farm on Saturday mornings. The Farmhouse amenity center has a pool, fitness center, splash pad and lakeside amphitheater, and The Slice adds pools, waterslides and pickleball, all connected by miles of trails. The sellers put it this way: "You don't need to take a vacation when you live here. You feel like you are on vacation every day." The home is in Fort Bend ISD. Confirm the current assignment for this address with Fort Bend ISD before relying on it. Harvest Green is in a municipal utility district.
When I asked what the house would say if it could talk, the sellers said it has been "deeply loved and cared for," and that they are thankful to God for the beauty and peace it has given them. 218 Curly Cucumber Circle is a 2025 single-story home with no back neighbors, the lake and fountain behind it, and a patio that stays in shade through the evening.

In the sellers' words
What was the moment you knew this was the one?
The moment we walked into the living and kitchen area, we were immediately impressed by the huge, open space filled with natural light, the beautifully defined dining room, and the beautiful view of the lake and fountain. But what truly made us fall in love with the house was when we walked out onto the patio. Very few homes have an oversized covered patio with such an incredible view. We stood there, taking it all in, and we couldn't walk away. I looked at my husband, and he asked me, "Do you like it?" I said, "Yes. This is the one." And he bought it the next day. We had been looking for our home for more than a year, and at that moment, we knew we had finally found it.
What surprised you in the best way after you moved in?
How much the community makes you feel like you are living in the country or on a farm, while still having all the conveniences of a beautiful neighborhood. I have especially loved sharing this with my grandchildren. They have enjoyed seeing the chickens and goats, and I have been able to teach them how plants grow and how to care for them. And then there is the convenience. The shopping center is just a short distance away, with H-E-B, restaurants, and everyday shopping right nearby. I love that I can walk my dog, go fishing, enjoy the pool, visit the farm, spend time outdoors, and still have restaurants and shopping just minutes away.
Tell us about the best gathering you've hosted here.
One of my favorite memories was hosting a baby shower for about 40 women from my family and friends. Everyone gathered in the house, and so many of them complimented the beauty of the home and, especially, the amazing view. It made me realize once again what a special home this is for entertaining and creating memories with family and friends.
What's your favorite spot in the house, and when?
Without a doubt, the patio. My husband and I sit there every day, listen to music, read, talk, and sometimes even dance. We don't need to go to a restaurant or a bar to enjoy a beautiful ambiance. The patio gives us that feeling right at home. It has become our own special place to relax and enjoy each other's company.
What's the story behind a feature someone wouldn't notice on a first walk-through?
You don't need to take a vacation when you live here. You feel like you are on vacation every day. You truly have two lifestyles in one place: the peaceful, almost farm-like experience, with the lake, fountain, nature, chickens, goats, fishing, and beautiful outdoor spaces, and at the same time, the elegance of the neighborhood and the convenience of shopping, H-E-B, restaurants, and everyday necessities just a short distance away.
If your home could talk, what would it say it'll miss most about your family?
It would say that it has been deeply loved and cared for. It would tell you how thankful we are to God for the beauty, peace, and relaxing moments it has given us. It would remember the music, the reading, the dancing, the family gatherings, and all the wonderful moments we have shared here. This home has given us many beautiful memories, and we hope its next owners will love and care for it just as much.
What would you tell someone who's on the fence about Harvest Green?
One of the best things about this community is the people. We have wonderful neighbors: professional, respectful, friendly, kind, and always willing to help. Beyond the neighbors, there is a very special lifestyle here: the lake, the farm, the pool, fishing, and places to walk and enjoy nature, with a shopping center, restaurants, and everyday shopping a short distance away. You truly have the best of both worlds.
Because someday is the most expensive word in real estate.
